Iranian-American Robin Shahini has been detained by authorities while visiting family in Gorgan, in the north east of Iran. Last week the British Foreign Office updated its travel advice for Iran, warning that the authorities do not recognise dual nationalities and dual national detainees will not be offered consular assistance. It is unclear what will happen in this case.
