A survey conducted at Heathrow airport by The London School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) this year found that 74 per cent of people travelling to tropical locations didn’t seek any advice about mosquitos or even pack repellent. Here, James Logan, associate professor in medical entomology at LSTM and presenter for Channel 4’s Embarassing Bodies series and who advised Team GB on their travel safety and mosquito strategy about our most burning mosquito-related questions.
