A man visiting Iceland from Hong Kong with his group of friends was killed in a road traffic accident on Saturday. The group had reportedly pulled over near Solheimasandur beach and were near their rental cars when Yue Yuen Choy was hit by another car.

Hong Kong man reportedly killed in road accident while on self-drive holiday in Iceland

A Hong Kong man was reportedly killed in a road accident on Saturday night while travelling in southern Iceland.

The victim, surnamed Choy, was said to be a tourist in his 40s and part of a group of 10 friends travelling in two rental cars heading to Solheimasandur beach, when the incident happened at about 11pm.
