Earlier this week a Japanese tourist was killed in a jetski accident in Cains. The 7 News Cairns report below has further details of the investigation that is underway.

Tourist dies in jetski accident at Cairns Marlin Marina
A JAPANESE tourist has died after the jetski she was riding in the Cairns Marlin Marina ran into the side of a reef boat packed with tourists.
Police said the woman was riding with both a male friend and an instructor when she collided with the large Sunlover Cruises catamaran which was parked at the wharf.
