On Tuesday the area manager for the northern Warrap state for Norwegian Refugee Council employee was forced to leave the country. This is the second NRC employee to be deported from South Sudan this week, without any formal explanation of why.
Meanwhile in Rock City, a group of armed men ‘harassed a South Sudanese aid worker [and] stole his smart phone at gunpoint‘ outside his home. The security situation in South Sudan is extremely precarious at the moment.

South Sudan expels second aid worker in a week
South Sudan has over the past week ordered two senior employees of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) to leave the country, without explanation, the aid organisation said Wednesday.
The expulsions follow the deportation of an American journalist from the war-torn country and come as alarm rises over spreading violence, with UN human rights experts warning “ethnic cleansing” was underway.
