On Saturday, thieves targeted a group of tourists waiting for a shuttle bus outside at Charles de Gaulle international airport. The group was sprayed with tear gas and their luggage was then stolen. The group included three Moroccans, four Americans, and 12 French people.

Last August, a group of Chinese tourists loading their luggage on to a tour bus near Charles de Gaulle airport, when thieves attacked them with tear gas and stole the luggage. In November, two Qatari sisters were tear gassed and robbed of goods worth $5m after leaving Le Bourget airport, near Paris.

American tourists tear gassed and robbed at Paris airport hotel

A group of Americans were among 19 tourists who were robbed by masked men armed with tear gas as they waited outside their hotel at Charles-de-Gaulle airport to the north of Paris.

The robbery took place outside the Novotel Hotel at Paris Charles-de-Gaulle airport on Saturday morning.

The thieves, hooded and dressed in black pulled up in several cars as the 19 tourists, who included four Americans, 12 French and three Moroccans were waiting for a shuttle bus to arrive.

Twenty tourists robbed at Charles de Gaulle airport hotel

MASKED MEN ARMED with tear gas robbed around 20 tourists who were waiting for shuttle buses outside a Paris airport hotel at the weekend, sources close to the investigation said today.

The black-clad thieves arrived in at least two vehicles at the hotel near Charles de Gaulle airport and robbed the French, American and Moroccan tourists of their luggage and personal belongings on Saturday, the sources told AFP.
