Summary – the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advise against all but essential travel to the city of Buea in the south west region of Cameroon; there is the potential for unrest in the north west and south west regions as large scale protests and marches continue; on 22 September 2017, several marches took place across towns and villages in the two regions; some have turned violent and protestors were killed. Transport restrictions, including the movement of people apply in the south west region until 2 October 2017; there have been recent explosions in Bamenda, one of which resulted in injuries.
