Recent Updates: The Safety and security tab was updated – World Pride 2017

Madrid will host World Pride events from June 23 to July 2, 2017. The events are expected to attract a large number of visitors. Key sites are likely to draw large crowds, which may cause traffic and pedestrian congestion, and could result in transportation delays. Crowding at key sites may also attract pickpockets and bag snatchers and may pose additional safety risks. Expect enhanced security, and, if attending the events, be aware of your surroundings and don’t leave belongings unattended.
