Event: The U.S. Embassy in Lima has received reports from the Peruvian National Police regarding a transportation strike and related road blocks in Cusco that could last up to two days. Roads between Cusco and the Sacred Valley are expected to be blocked beginning at midnight on February 28. U.S. citizens are urged to educate themselves about these protests prior to traveling into and through the area.
